What matters more for video processing?

Hi all. I’m collecting the equipment for my future home theater and I need some help. I had a theater in my previous house, but that was so long ago now that there have been many new advances that I have yet to catch up on. I have all of the amps and speakers I need since they don’t change much over time, but I’m trying to hold out as long as possible on the preamp/processor and projector since those change more often. I’m trying to be as economical as possible without compromising quality, so I get everything used, but I don’t want anything too outdated.

As of now, I’m planning to get the Sony VPL XW-6000ES projector, or maybe the JVC DLA NZ8, if I can get a good deal. Now here’s my dilemma: Should I get the Marantz AV8805 or 8805A? Since the 8805 is older, I can get a much better deal on one, but the 8805A has more advanced video processing - HDR10+ vs. HDR and 4k/120. I’m not sure whether the audio section is any different between the two. So my question is whether the difference in video is even important, or should I just be outputting directly to the projector anyway? Or if I got the 8805A, would the processing be better than in the projector, so I should go through that step? I think I will eventually have 3 sources - disc, computer, media server - and the projectors only have 2 inputs, but I assume I could run the server through the computer.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
