DAC Output Splitter

I want to connect both transport and streamer to DAC in my Stein Stateline Amp 2. There is a single coax output and I would like to attach a splitter and run digital cables to both transport and streamer.  Any potential problems with this, or reasons not to? Thanks

No it doesn’t. DAC has coax and usb, streamer and transport coax and optical....and I just happen to already have a splitter and 2 coax cables...

just tried it - doesn't work if both cables connected

actually it works if the other component is in standby...so all is good for now
