The Mavericks - " Moon and Stars '' .....

Mr. Bear, thank you for the great recommendation.  The Tidal information page says “…If you loved them in 90s, Moon and Stars will remind you why” and that’s pretty much dead on.  

Some albums, often those whose songs vary in style from track to track, take a few listens to really take hold.  Moon and Stars is familiar and fresh at the same time and pulled me in right off.

Hadn't listened to these guys in a long time--thanks for the reminder.  Raul Malo is a wonderful vocalist.  M&S isn't quite as rollicking as their older stuff--a little more Latin pop-oriented but with his voice it comes off well.
