Legacy Audio Focus SE and rivals

I am Interested at Legacy Audio Focus SE - their natural look Is exceptional, they are very efficient, got 2 x 12 Inch woofers which cut off  low end at 18 Hz at - 2 dB , curious about  HF end where cut off Is 30 kHz

I would like to ask you - are they neutral sound speaker, are they sensitive to closer to wall placing

are there any better alternative at that price

I have never heard a Legacy  Speaker, I didn’t like.  I heard the original Go us, not the SE and I liked them a lot.  I heard the Valor which are incredible. Bill Duttleson makes excellent speakers.

Love them!!!  One of the greatest values in high end high performance speakers.

We are a legacy dealer and the signatures are  excellent across the board they are basically neutral with a clean detailed top end and a wide soundstage the bass is clean and punchy and a bit warm

they sound great with a large number of amplifiers, and work well in many diffeeent sized rooms.

The Focus is rear ported, so they ideally should be out from the wall a bit.  The Signature is sealed, and can be placed closer to the wall behind it. Both models have a switch to attenuate LF if needed.

FWIW, I purchased the Signature SE a couple months ago and love them.
