Please talk me out of buying the Avalon Eclipse

No no, there is still a chance :) Sometimes I am super indecisive and even though most people think I won't do it, I will do it the last minute. Especially if the conditions change. 

Celo if you can’t live without those speakers by all means get them. If not let it go. There are other speakers out there .

@celo , those speakers need a lot of power (+150 Watts) and it should be clean power. They can play deep bass, but from all the feedback we have on that speaker, you need just the right amp to do it.

For all the time you've wasted on this thread, you could be enjoying the damn speakers already!
