Good choice for 20' XLR cable?

I'm thinking of moving my equipment rack to a side wall. If and when I do that, I will need a pair of 20' XLR cables to go between preamp and amp. I do not want to spend more than $1,500.00 for the pair, hopefully much less for decent quality. New or used is okay for me.

Do you have any thoughts or suggestions regarding a particular brand?

Thank you.

Recently did this but used longer speaker cables as moving the amp is not really an option.  I used Wireworld 10 series and am very pleased with the performance as well as their XLR's.  They have several lines but their Eclipse are close to your budget.  Very good cables and people in my experience!  Good luck.

I have them made up by a pro audio shop (in my case ProAudioLA) with Mogami 2549 cable and Neutrik's best XLR connectors. If memory serves, a 20 ft pair might set you back $150 or so.

I've tried only one pair of designer audiophile cables, because only one manufacturer would lend them to me in that length. I invited four friends (including a composer, two musicians, and someone in the audio business) over to participate in a single-blind test. All of us found the $2,500 designer cables far more colored than the Mogami.

I have a 20 foot run from my Hegel preamp to a Plinius amp with Tekton DI speakers.   Have used with several amps and preamps and the cable exposes the source material quality and showed the benefit of adding a power supply for the DAC.   Hands down great value - not going anywhere this is the make / model …Pangea Audio Premier True Balanced Interconnect
