Looking for a new subwoofer with two inputs

I'd like to keep this short, but not sure I can.  I currently have two audio systems sitting side by side -- one for music, one HT -- that share a subwoofer.  It's a Monoprice Monolith V10 THX.  For the price, it really punches above its weight and I'm really happy with it, with just one exception.

My music system -- Eversolo DMP A8 into Parasound A51 into Usher Dancer Mini 2 Diamonds.  I absolutely love this system, so naturally I'm upgrading it.  LOL.  A Parasound JC5 is coming next week to replace the A51, and a DMP A10 will shortly follow to replace the A8.  It sounds fantastic to me, and according to the room correction software in the Eversolo, the speakes and sub have a flat sound curve from 20 to 20k hz.

My HT system -- fiber optic cable box into Marantz AV7706 into Parasound A51 (second one) into Klipsch RC-64 center and four Bose 901 V using Deer Creek equalizers front and rear (no haters please - these are great for surround sound).  As part of this system, the sub has no problem pissing off my wife with it's room shaking ability when turned up.

So, why do I want a new sub?

There is only one problem with my current setup.  I'm running an XLR cable from the Marantz to the sub, and RCA cable from the Eversolo to the sub.  But it won't switch automatically.  When I go from music to HT or vice versa, I have to turn off the sub, unplug it from the wall, then plug it back in and turn it back on.  Then I turn on whichever system I want to listen to, and the sub detects the input and is paired with the correct system.  Kind of a first world problem I know, but it would be nice to not have to go through those gyrations every time, which can be more than once or twice a day.

Perhaps the easiest solution would be to just buy a second Monoprice sub.  At only $600, it's a bargain.  But I'm not sure where I would put the second one (stacked on top the first maybe?).  Also, my current one is piano black, which is no longer available.  If I had two, it would be nice if they matched.  So I'm looking for recommendations for a single replacement.  The soon to arrive Eversolo A10 has XLR sub connections, so my ideal sub would have two separate XLR inputs, but I'll take XLR and RCA.

I've received really great advice from this group in the past, so I'm looking for help with what is most likely going to be my last upgrade/purchase for a long time. I'm not limited to a $600 sub, but my budget isn't unlimited.  Maybe something in the $2000 range? Thanks!

I'd open it up and replace the autodetect circuit with a toggle switch.  but you need a little technical experience to do that.

Very simple issue... You could just run cables from either setup’s preamp or processor to a RCA or XLR switch and output a single cable from the switch to that sub. When you are swapping between setups, you would get off the chair and hit that switch once, easy peazy.

(You also don’t want to create pestilent g.loops, etc, so above mentioned should work alright)

There may be more complicated issues in the 1st world w.r.t to moving/sharing subs around....either run 2 subs or 4 subs on a setup at will... send 2 subs over to a secondary setup, if needed, while it already had a sub, etc, not to mention different sources, etc, etc....When your life get’s that complicated one day laugh, feel free to revisit the thread.

I love this forum!  Audio switch, of course. I found an XLR switch that has audio sensing, so once everything is connected I don’t even have to get out of the chair.

I’ll still consider any subwoofer suggestions, but this seems like the answer.  https://www.bobwireaudio.com/xlr1

I believe some of the earlier monolith subs were designed by Dr. Hsu and it probably gets carried through by monolith on their newer models, i.e., they would hit above their price.

Around the same price, these sealed dual 10s from Tekton will have more extension (get down to 20 hz) and get cleaner.

As you go higher up in price, the nicer Rythmik subs start to open up.

The F12G with the GR driver is a good option, but might be constantly backordered because of popularity.

These type of subs are a high fidelity option with the integration tools for music. You could double up on quantity for HT (if needed) and continue to retain the ’quality’ of bass.
