Modern amp solution for Magnepan 2.7QRs with bluetooth and phono stage interfaces?

Time for a new amp.

Magnepan recommends high current, 4 ohm, class A/B amp that comes close to doubling output from 8 to 4 ohms. I would indeed like to keep hearing the full dynamic range with full bass capabilities.

24x18 room with 9’ ceilings, so moderate power should suffice.  Perhaps 100 into 8 ohms and 200 ish into 4.

Is there a list of recommended amps for maggies?

Recommended units or additional components with phono stage and modern streaming interface?
New (ish)  preferred, but my mind is open.

Thanks,Grokkin

Based on personal experience the Marantz phono s/n ratio is more than adequately quiet, and it's power more than capable of driving Magnepans.

This is an old thread I see but just want to mention that due to sending my Odyssey Kismet amps off for upgrade Ihave been using the power amp section of a Marantz Model 30 to drive my Maggie 2.7X.  Mind you, these speakers have caused more than one amp to either just about melt or shut down. It's 100 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms and I must say I am quite impressed with the sound quality and coolness of the amp. It doesn't even get a little warm and provides plenty of volume, dynamics and imaging. I would think a Model 30 and a pair of 1.7i would be a great combo and would do a good job of driving your 2.7QRs while staying well within your budget. I can't speak to the pre-amp section but I was using it in my other system with a Topping E70 Velvet DAC and really enjoyed the sound. Supposed to be a great phono stage as well.
