Thiel Owners

tmsrdg - your 3.7s are the final, revision 2. All CS3.7s crossovers were produced by FST in China. After #880, they have the final coaxes and crossovers. All cabinets and final assembly were made in Kentucky.

Greetings Thiel fans,   I wanted to share that 2025 marks my 40 year anniversary of owning Thiel speakers.  Cannot believe it.

1985 cs 2.0

1989 cs 2.2

2007 cs 2.4

2015 cs 2.7

2018 cs 3.7

I am very interested to hear from anyone that owned 3.7's and moved to another speaker,  what that speaker was.  i am interested in the upper level of the Perlisten line of speakers, and maybe the new Magico S2,  but would really be interested in hearing from anyone who moved from the 3.7's to a new speaker.  They are so hard to beat.

I have not been keeping up with this thread but noticed that Gary Dayton's name was mentioned a few times in relation to CSS.  Is Rob still there or has he gone on to another career?

There is a pair of 3.7's just  listed on AUM as of today and are located in MA.

ronkent - As of May, Rob has retired. Gary was Thiel's customer service agent and Jim's assistant. Rob helps Gary with any sticky issues or techniques. Seamless continuity.
