Moerch DP-8 tonearm?

Anyone using a Moerch DP-8 tonearm? Just bought one, but I hear a noise like a hum when I increase the volume when listening to records in my turntable with this new tonearm. This hum-like noise occurs with different cartridges and different tonearm cables. And does not happen with other tonearms. The phono preamp is the same for the other tonearms. The tonearm is very well fixed to the tonearm base. And the noise only occurs when I increase the volume. What would be the possible causes?

Can you amplify your description of the noise? Is it really “hum”, which is defined as a 60Hz or120Hz pure tone? Or is it less specific than that? How loud is it relative to music signal?

I bought this tonearm brand new in USA. It´s more like a resonance in high volumes. There´s no noise with low volume. It´s like a distortion of low frequencies. When I added a 7g rubber weight to the arm tube, the noise completely disappeared. Looks like its a isolation/vibration problem ...

A kinetic Energy being transferred, had manifested as an audible Sound.

That as an issue with the TA, is quite unusual, it's hard to consider the notion a Damping was not correctly used at the time of preparing the TA for the assembly prior to being shipped.

There's always the risk there is a item supplied from the so called 'Friday Effect ' where assembly is the work being carried out.

Worker become blind to certain parts which become discovered as not having been added to an assembly.

With Tonearms and as seen the same with Cart's, the more who are used to assemble, the more variations of an End Sound will be produced.

Items that look the same, but produce Sound with a discernible difference.
