@slaw: It’s funny Steve---I also mistakenly credited the k.d. lang Ingenue One-Step as being on Impex Records, in a response to the video Norman Maslov posted on YouTube around the time of it’s release. Feeble minds think alike? laugh

I previously had only k.d.’s Angel With A Lariat album on LP, mostly because it was produced by Dave Edmunds. That album is much more in the Roots Rock style (where Rockabilly and Hillbilly meet), and I ignored her Ingenue album because I perceived it as being too MOR/Easy Listening in style (I feel the same about a good portion of Patsy Cline’s recorded work). I’m really glad I have finally loosened my somewhat snobby attitude towards non-Hillbilly based Country & Western music (strings instead of fiddles). I mean c’mon man, k.d. is just a flat-out great singer!

IMO, @bdp24  She’s one of the greatest Eric. I’ve been slowly acquiring her vinyl output for a while. Never disappointed. Her control and interpretive abilities are superb.

Maybe a new thread...."Feeble Minds....Snobby Attitudes"??? A joint project ?

@slaw @bdp24 I agree with you on the Because Sound Matters One Step “Ingenue”, it’s fantastic! My copy is Sire/Warner Music #2016 of #3000.

+1 on Kathleen Edward’s “Billionaire” Steve, really liking that too. Been streaming it, plan on hitting the LRS’s sidewalk sale this weekend to grab the LP.
