Yes, That is the correct way to listen to your Hi-Rez files. Make sure that your DVD player is capable of playing back a 24/96kHz audio signal. There are some great deals on older blank media. I like to burn mine at the slowest speed anyway. You will get better quality and no coasters.Cirlinca DVD Audio Solo Ultra is the software that I use. You can try it for 30 days free on a trial. Good Luck!
high resolution pc files 24/96 or 24/192 to dvd-a
Can a high resolution pc files 24/96 or 24/192 be simply burnt to dvd-a blank disc and then played on a universal transport player?
If so, isn't this a high quality way to listen to high resolution files?
What am I missing other than the convenience of having a zillion pc files or the effort to burn to dvd-audio.
Would not the advantage be less issues with jitter and other usb spdif related issues?
thanks
Michael

Sure, you can use HD-Audio Solo Ultra and make sure to burn on JVC/Taiyo Yuden DVD-R. Best, Alex Peychev |
