Simaudio Supernova or Marantz SA-7S1

I can pick up either of these well reviewed players used at decent prices on Audiogon. Can anyone describe the difference in sound between the two players? I know the Marantz does SACD but the Simaudio has a digital input.

My system now is a Marantz SA-11S1 SACD player (a great player in my system but I'm looking to step up in performance), a Simaudio P-7 pre-amp and W-8 power amp and Revel Studio 2 speakers.

Or are both these players dated now? I know Simaudio has the 650d and 750d but they are very pricy. Wonder if Marantz has plans to come out with something similar (i.e. that can act as a DAC as well as a cdp)?

I also had the Marantz SA-11S1 . I borrowed a Marantz SA7 from a friend when I was in the market for a new spinner , it was good but a little on the warm side for my tastes , I ended up with the Ayre C5MP , about the same cost .

How did the Ayre compare to the Marantz SA-11S1? Personally I don't find the SA-11S1 warm but I've not really compared it to much.
