Has anyone heard behringer Src 24/96 Dac?

I heard it on my system,it's cheap,sounds Ok for the money but seems to be lacking something.I wonder how much better a magicdac would sound,something better used in under$500. range.

The Behringer DEQ 2496 DAC's may be the same - they are a bit graney in the high frequencies for some speakers. I've read the internal DAC upgrades on The Gon with aftermarket mods that have reportedly worked quite well, too.
