Rolex watches, being self-winding mechanisms, must be adjusted to the user's regular movement patterns.
This is done from within the watch (by the Rolex Service guy) after the user has kept a week-long diary of daily time loss/gain.
I've had my Submariner for 20 years now and can get it accurate to +1 or +2 seconds per day.
If you don't wear your Rolex constantly but keep it on an automated moving machine, it can never be accurate for both you and the machine.
A Rolex should NEVER run slow as this will spiral into inaccuracy....rather it should always be set to run 1 or 2 seconds fast per day.
