Why Merlins sound better then Sonus Faber

Why do Merlin Speakers 1/5 the cost of SF sound better then even the top Sonus Faber models? or am I wrong...

Either you did this, and the dealer has a name....or you asked a question with an implied statement about two products with which you don't even have any actual listening experience.
