Never been in for repair/serious maint (knock on wood!!!!). Mint, not one nick. Oh, have the 25 foot wired remote (about 1/2 the size of a carton of cigarettes). Ha. Love it --

I've mainly used it the past couple of years to convert my open reels to digital. I had to recently get my rubber rollers rebuilt and one always worries about the availability of parts to repair or maintain a 30 year old machine. I'd have a hard time justifying day to day use.
