Ripping software for 2014

I'm beginning to work on moving my music to a hard drive. I plan to rip everything in .wav format. I'd appreciate hearing the pros and cons of the ripping software you're using.

As for WAV it has almost zero support for metadata! I'd suggest if you are worried about even a lossless format that's compressed then use either AIFF, or use FLAC setup with zero compression, both will support artwork and metadata and sound great.
