Either way you'd have a sweet analog front. That said, moving to the Classic 3 would elevate your system to an entirely different level, even with the components you have. However, you would certainly not get the best out of the turntable with your current setup.
My advice would be to upgrade the table even if you couldn't upgrade the rest of the system for a while. The Classic, whether 1, 2 or 3 is a keeper so you can't go wrong with it. Then, as your finances allow, you could upgrade the cartridge and the preamp to bring the system to a new level.
