Synergistic New Tesla Line...Any comments?

The PowerCell comes with its own MPC- to power both the PowerCell and its powercord (assuming you get a PowerCell 10SE otherwise the MPC is for the PowerCell only as the PowerCell 6 comes with a stock cheapie powercord). I can't wait to see what a Galileo MPC does over a stock MPC when powering my PowerCell 10SE. This should be fun :)

Hi all, this question may have been asked before, but since this is actually the 750th entry it's not easy to trace that back. I have been noticing a constant buzz coming prom the MPC of my T2 power cord. It may have been there for some time but now I'm aware of it it becomes increasingly disturbing (in other words, I have to unplug the MPC when playing music). The MPC is plugged in the same power bar (featuring star-like wire geometry) as the cord itself. Am I creating some sort of loop by that? Any other thoughts? Btw, I use the cord with the Lektor V cd-player/pre-amp.

Have you tried plugging it in elsewhere to see if the buzz goes away?

Is the buzz coming from the MPC itself or through the system?

I would think if the MPC itself is buzzing then it probably needs repaired. Mine are dead silent.

The MPC should not make any noise. Try it in an outlet all its own and see if it goes away while playing music. If not, it needs to be replaced and I would call Synergistic right away for a replacement.

Thanks for the advice. The buzz definitely comes from the MPC itself, I'll experiment a bit during the weekend (other receptacle, other source etc.) and report back.
