Using analog intended PC for a digital source

I have bought several Signal/Element PCs lately. I have been looking for a decent priced Signal/Element PC for my digital components (DAC & CD player) but keep missing the ones that come up for sale here.

Is it OK to use a analog intended PC for a digital source? Or is the added shielding of the digital intended cords that much better?

The sky will open up and the high-end audio gods will smite you! Be very, very careful. :-)

I doubt you will hear a difference but you will only know by trying both.

You are right! Soon as I plugged the Signal PC into my DAC there was thunder off in the distance:). Thanks for the advice.
