I HAVE A SECRET TO TEL

I have a new modest system price wise and a lot of the cabling is DIY with many many hours put into them. My new system consist of a 1.8 watt tube integrated SET 84C from Decware along with the very well made ZCD Tube CD Player, and the 2 way Parker Audio Signature 95 Speakers specifically designed for the 84C amp in mind.
WELL WITH EXCITEMENT I MUST REVEAL THIS BREAKTHROUGH SECRET.
I could keep it not a secret and try to make big bucks from it, But then that wouldn’t be fair to us little guys trying to live month to month in today’s economy.
I’ll give you a hint first. This mod was so great that I tore apart the inside of my speaker to finish up my further experiments.
Okay well its time to spill the beans.
USE Deflex paneling for every application you can think of . Not just inside the loudspeaker for dampening and resonance control BUT everywhere else as well. YOUR Speaker cables, Audio IC’s, Power Cords, Wall Plate to your wall and behind your wall. THE CUMULATIVE EFFECT IS STAGGERING. I first tried it out on my DIY IC’S and the improvement was way beyond anything I had imagined. It was such a huge sound quality improvement at that time of the experiment that I tore out all my Deflex Panels I had inside my speakers and proceeded to use all of that to cover up my power cords and start to cover up my speaker cable as well. Of course I had to reorder a bunch more Deflex to repad my speaker of which I have already done. Thus in my experiment the last thing I did was repaded the speakers and one speaker cable completely to A B Between the channels to see if I could here any changes. The completed padded speaker cable was again STAGGERING. I had put on my cd and before I could even sit back in my listening chair I had that WOW Factor all over me in 2 seconds or less.
Some of u would be questioning my claims of what I am about to say now. The last time I heard a high end speaker cable was about 5 months ago. I won’t name the brand but lets say it cost almost 33K for an 8 foot pair. Well my diy speaker cable to my ears and memory sound much better at a fraction of the price,But then again I have spent a massive amount of hours putting these monstrous speaker cables together and the use of DEFLEX PANELING TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE SPEAKER CABLE TOOK IT TO A LEVEL I HAD NEVER ENCOUNTERED WITH ANYTHING. My biggest problem I have now is the size and weight of them. The cables are 3 to 4 inches in diameter and our so heavy now they almost bend my binding post on my speaker end. Unfortunately my speaker binding post is up high on my speaker cabinet; not down low like a lot of speaker designs made.
So I may need to pig tale the ends to lossen the weight toward the terminating ends.
I can now hear real notes and real spaces for the first time as heard live in a concert. I have heard systems costing 150K and it reproduces music very realistic as a copy of a live event, But with the DEFLEX paneling on everything employed it just takes it to the next level of transparency that you must hear to believe. Like I said I wanted to share the secret with all who have ears to hear and the time to experiment
Now lets all hurry up and buy up this stuff while a few still stock it. I am told that the Deflex is so heavy certain distributors don’t want to carry it anymore in their stock.
I have had all of the Deflex working in my system for the past 48 hours so I will need to have it all settle into the system for 1 or 2 months and report back on my findings to keep notes on any changes that occur.
My tube cd player is just allowing me to hear vast inner detail throughout the system and a huge vast sense of transparency even at high volume levels you can hear the real correct timbre of a triangle ringing in an orchestra without any breakup of the sound whatsoever. You can hear every breath a singer breaths and you can hear more of the space between each note.and what this silence consists of. I can hear spaces within spaces and vast amounts of open acoustic spaces when its recorded as such.
Well ; thank you of taking the time reading this little posted SECRET that is not a secret anymore and please try out the experiment yourself and buy some of the Deflex and let me know if it works on your cabling as well.

I fasten these with tie wraps very tightly together,ourelse u can use Gorilla black tape which grips like a tornado onto itself. U pull tightly and overlap maybe 1/4 inch on the cables and it seems to act as an effective noise reducer and resonant reducer for the entire system. On my monsterous speaker cable I cut from an 8 by 11 sheet of Deflex about 4 1/2 inch off wide and overlap this tightly and secure both ends first and then wrap toward middle of the first 4 1/2 by 11 sheet for my first padded section and then continue on the length of the cable until its all padded up.The entire length of the cable is completely padded up when finished. The other problem if doing this to cables is they become very heavy and you really can't let them dangle down especially with ic's ourelse the weight of them may pull them out of the rca jacks,But if u use locking rca wtb's they may work okay. Its time consuming but you won't beleive how much better your system will become.
I am trying to think outside the box and am looking on the macro level of things instead of looking at the more obvious room acoustics that wee all need to address.
I have seen diagrams of lets say some high end cable companies also address damping into the use of their products. So others have been employing this principle on a commercial level. I just figured out how us everyday people can do this as well.

Can you put pics in your system so we can see this product??

The JPS 3 IC is the same as the Aluminata except the Aluminata has this secrect outside wrapping around the wire that puts it lights yrs. ahead of the JPS 3. So you my be on to something here.

I have (and am selling) the AVM Paint and it is outstanding at what it does.

I will post several detailed photos next month when I do an update of my system on Audiogon. I need to wait and get my camera back from loan and will have it back on July 1st. At that time I will try to take several photos at various locations with explanations of what I did and Why

I have done an update on my system and did attempt to take a picture of my diy speaker cable on my fuzzy web cam.
So yes u can kinda see what I had done and it was a huge amount of work involved.

After reading this post, I bought some deflex wrap (no ridges) to experiment with.

I treated my speaker cables first and experienced much of what 76db did. My system became lush sounding and I was hearing musical details I'd never heard before. There was a problem though. I lost much of my bass. Drum notes ceased to be tight. It was as if the sound had been filtered. I suspect that filtering the bass allowed the high end to be as good as it was but in the end I was left musically unsatisfied. I use jumpers so maybe biwiring and treating only the higher frequencies might work but I tried various amounts of deflex without success. I may have wrapped it too tight.

On the plus side, while the treatment was in place, it was so much easier to make VTA/VTF adjustments. After removing the deflex, my system sounded as if I had VTA/VTF dead on.

I redeployed the used deflex to my five shelf Target stand wrapping the four standing pillars leaving small gaps where the horizontal cross pieces are welded to the pillars. In all I wrapped sixteen pillar pieces, four for each shelf excepting the top shelf. This required six sheets of deflex wrap. (The deflex comes in 8 x 11 sheets. I cut pieces about 3.3 x 8 only allowing me 3 pieces per sheet plus a little extra. A 2.75 inch wide piece was too narrow to wrap the pillar piece easily)

This turned out better than I could have imagined. I cannot believe the tone improvement. The music is so much more rich sounding without any loss of bass. Soundstage grew much larger too.

I added the deflex to the Target stand in stages. Just treating the bottom four pillar pieces made an improvement that got better as I added more deflex. If you have a Target stand you will love this stuff.
