8 strand vs. 4 strand speaker wires

If wiring bi-wire speakers, what's the experience of 8 strand vs. 4 strand. Mogami makes a 4 strand that gets some good write ups. But, they also make an 8 strand and it's possible to pair those up to make a 4 strand bi-wire. Any advantages to the 8 strand?

I have been using a 30ft.pair of Mogami w2941(8 cond.) cables for a long time.I have them configured in an internal bi-wire configuration.Mogami makes 2,4,6,8 cond.models.The most obvious advantage in using the 8 cond.model is the larger guage suitable for long runs.Check out my answers area for more info on Mogami wire.
