PurePower APS power cord

PurePower APS users, do you see any improvement using an aftermarket power cord to supply power to the PurePower unit? It's an AC regenerator, so I'm wondering if a nice cord upfront would make any difference.

I am considering buying a PurePower+ 2000 unit. Thanks.

Same here...my experience is the same as Puremusic. For the longest time I held off on using anything but the good quality cord supplied with the Purepower unit thinking that with the regeneration+storage into batteries and SOTA cord could not possibly help. I was dead wrong. Improved macro and micro-dynamics; greater resolution and fullness; tighter and more powerful bass; even better sound stage and imaging; improved coherence and refinement; enhanced musicality and realism and energy.

oh sure it will! And, the reason is that, even tho' the PurePower is an AC regenerator, the regenerator itself needs electronics to create the new AC waveform. Basically, an AC regenerator is a power amplifier designed to output a 60Hz/programmable freq sinewave with a defined amount of current (3A, 6A, etc). Inside the AC regenerator there is an oscillator that generates the 60Hz/prog freq sine wave that goes thru the power amp to the AC outlets. All of this electronics uses DC power that is obtained from rectifying the AC coming from your wall outlet. Thus, the quality of the AC power matters a lot.
It comes to me as no surprise that others (like myself) have benefited from upgrading the AC power cord. I believe that you will too....
Bombaywalla, looking at your Systems I don't see a Purepower listed. Do you have one and what power cord do you use?

correct I do not use the PurePower AC regen in my system - I use a PS Audio P300 AC regen. Different make/model but same philosophy re. AC signal regen. I use an ESP Essence Reference to my P300 Power Plant with very good results.
