In my opinion if you are satisfied with the result of rhodium gtx d in the power amp, then I don`t see the convinience to test gold outlet.It could be advisable to test it only if you find something in the sound performance that doesn`t convince you( for instance if it is a sound with too much control, full of details but with no engaging listening, if it has restrained mids etc)but if it is not your case, then keep using the rhodium outlet in the Krell fpb 700cx.Anyway if you want to make the test with the gold version in the Krell, buy only if you want, I will appreciate your comments.Good point mentioned Michelzay regarding the relation between interconnects and speakers cablesĀ“s base metal and the gold or rhodium connectors.I will take it into account.Cheers!Raf
