If threshold amps are as good as their reputation why did they go out of business? Is it risky to buy because of repair costs? Is there something comparable on the market?

I have used a Threshold s/300 for years always worked great never gave any hint of problems.Recently gone tubes still have Threshold amp will sell for the right price! looks and works like new. Not up for sale but e-mail if your interested csarachy@aol.com
