Best used 5 channels amp. for both music and movies

I am looking for a good used 5 channels power amp that will be used 75% for music and 25% for movies. After a few weeks of reading reviews, I came up with a list of amp that is listed from best to worst. Please comment if I am wrong

1. Krell KAV-500
2. Classe CAV-150
3. Proceed Amp-5
4. Pass Labs x5
5. Bryston 9B
6. Aragon 8008x5
7. Sunfire Grand Cinema Signature
8. Parasound HCA-2205
9. Acurus A200x5

Who needs used? J&R in N.Y.C. has Harmon-Kardon 2.1 Signature Amps. (reconditioned-2 yr. Factory warranty) for $499.00 (MSRP @$1600). 5X100 wpc

Hi Sean,

Try to audition the Cary Cinema A-5. It is 125 watts per channel and retail for $4000.00. This is a killer amp. considering the price and the performance.For two channel music....... I would say just audition and you will hear it with your own ears..... it is pure music. Thanks

EAD Powermasters make fine 2 channel or 5 channel amps. The Powermaster 2000 if you need 400watts x 5 channels and balanced inputs, the Powermaster 1000, if you can live with 200watts x 5 channels (really amounts to alot more into 2 channels) and can live without balanced inputs. BIG differences in prices ($7200 vs $3300), and they sound basically the same. Better than most of the amps on your list, and as good as the best of them (Pass, Krell, Classe, Bryston)
