Help requested matching Pre to Amp

I am very new to separates and hope to learn from some of the more experienced members. Can anyone offer advice as to what preamp (new / used under $1000)would mate well to Sonus Faber GP Home and a B&K 2220. I am using my old HK receiver as a preamp currently. Ideally the preamp will have a home theater pass-through.

THE B&K CAN SOUND COLD AND DARK AT TIMES (NO OFFENSE) i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A TUBE PREAMP. TRY THE ANTHEM PRE BY SONIC FRONTIERS. i USED TO OWN A EX 4420 AND THATS WHAT I USED IT WAS MAGIC.

Thanks for the response. Are there any "tube" sounding SS preamps that would mate well? Perhaps Bryston or Muse?
