DIVX DVDs

Is there a way to get the old DIVX DVDs to play? I have about 20 of them that were not watched within the amount of time that DIVX existed and about 50 that were watched during the 48 hour viewing period. I still have the old DIVX DVD player but it will not play any of them.Just thought I would ask before I throw them away.Thanks.
