Favorite music of the 90 s

Now that the 90's are over and done with and we have all had time to evaluate the music; which recordings stick out in your mind as being the BEST? (what ever your interpretation of the best is, maybe just the top ten so this thread eventually ends!)

Lots of choices I was not expecting to see but I do agree with just about all of them so far......I could not begin to generate a list that small but will work on trying to do so. Keep 'em coming

Here's a diverse list, one which I am sure is incomplete(with apologies...). Patricia Barber, Bjork, The Breeders, Paula Cole, Francis Dunnery, any project that included Johnny Mar, Morrissey, NWA, Beth Orton, Liz Phair, Southern Culture On The Skids, Weezer, Dar Williams, and Lucinda Williams.
