Upgrading Transparent Reference XL cables

I want to upgrade my Reference XL speaker cables by Transparent. The new cables seem to be tilted upwards in the treble. Is there a better sounding speaker cable for the $2500 upgade fee.

Try Empirical Clarity 7 speaker cables. Steve has a great 30 day trial policy but you woun't need it.
