Who is the WORST Audio Shop?

There seems to have been quite a bit written over the past several years regarding the myriad of reasons one can attribute to the demise of the brick and mortar audio shop. Rarely have I read however one of the most obvious reasons, which based on my experience, has got to be the simple fact that for the most part, they just didn't offer a high end listening experience. That, along with an elitist and careless attitude towards customer service, buried them as much as anything else. So here's my question. Who is the WORST audio shop/dealer you've ever encountered?

Guys-

whenever you have a bad experience w/ any dealer/retailer, not only do you write about the experience on-line, you must contact the distributor/company, who produces the gear of your interest. Believe me when I say, those operations do not want negative publicity.

if one has an open mind, one will not prejudge an experience before it happens.

this means that if someone is mistreated by an audio dealer, it does not follow that someone else will also be mistreated.

thus, there is no "worst audio shop", because different people have different outcomes when they visit the same dealer.

Sometimes that is true; but sometimes different people have the same outcome when they visit the same dealer. That's why it's not appropriate to extrapolate from a sample of 1. OR 2 OR 3.

Again, we can clearly see here a pattern of poor experiences by several people at the same dealers.

I did that after being treated rudely each time I visited AV SOUTH in Tampa. I didn't just email Linn, I called them, and thay stated that they take negative things very seriously. I also praised all of the Dealers that were very good to me too. If a dealer doesn't want someone to come into their store without making a purchase every time they visit, they can just post a sign outside their doors. Linn sent copies of my emails (bad and good) to each Dealer that I mentioned to them.
