former BAT vk200 owners-what did you move up to?

Greetings,
Any former owners of the BAT VK-200 amp that have moved UP to other amplifiers.....what did it take to get "better" than the vk-200? Anybody had one and ended up coming back to it? Your comments on your experiences are appreciated.
Happy Listening!

I have not owned a VK-200 but I did own a VK-500 for four years. I moved up to Pass Labs Aleph 1.2 monoblocks becaue of the more natural sounding midrange.
TUBES! A tube amp mated with the right speaker would yield better results to a lot of listeners. But if you want to stick with SS look into Rowland, Accphase, Halcro, Cello, it really depends why you think you want a new amp and what speakers your using. Help us out a little better and we'll point you towards a better possible solution.

I went to the VK60. Midrange was incredibly better. Vk200 was a little quieter. Bass a little tighter. Typical solid state vs tube stuff. I'd like to try 2 vk-60s or a vk75se.
