Tonearm buzzing question

When I touch the tonearm (or even the dust cover) of my turntable, I hear a buzzing sound from my speakers. Is this a grounding issue? My turntable and integrated amp I believe both have places to hook up a ground wire (for analog). Will this solve this "problem". Is it okay if I leave it as is...once I let go there is no buzzing.

Hey man I am having the same problem with my NAD 533. Although my ground wire has always been connected...Also there is a slight high frequency buzz when I'm not touching the tonearm that is intrusive over the music at loud volumes. Let me know what you find out.

Start by disconnecting components till the buzzing goes away. Also check your speakers for foam rot.
