Hi I had my CAT MK III matched with the Ayre V-3, it was not a perfect combo, litle on the light side, not sure why. The Ayre sounded great with my Cary Pre-amp.
Simm Moon or Ayre or Meridan???
Looks like these are all in about the same range. Am addining to a system with a CAT SL-1 and Martin Logan Sequel II's. Am also in the market for a new (used) amp so I am not quite sure where that will take me. Seems that folks are happy with all 3 of these. Any downsides to either of the 3.
