I think I read it is a Duoptic interconnect (whatever that is?)? If a MSB Link DAC is the right way to go with the Aiwa, do you know how much Stan's Mod is for the Link DAC? I could call, but I don't wish to bother him if I can avoid it. Thanks!

I spoke with him about three months ago. Stan is more than willing to talk about his mods, why they work, and even make suggestions you hadn't thought to ask about. He has a power supply mod for MSB Link DAC and a chip replacement suggestion that you could do yourself.
