Do materials alter frequencies and speed?

Does anyone manufacture cables made from premium copper, silver and carbon? Would the combination be additive or muddy?

It is a very complex process. I haven't heard of anyone using pure carbon though. Did you mean all 3 together? Copper and silver are used all the time.

What is speed? Which materials affect frequencies, the conductor or dielectric or both? If both, in what measure are such effects produced by one or the other? Are we dealing here with measured differences in frequency response or subjectively perceived ones? Thanks.
