Is the Audio Aero Prestige available yet?

I'm seriously looking to upgrade the digital front end and am emmensely interested in the AA Capitole but would like SACD capability if I'm going to take the plunge. I don't see much talk about this player and am wondering if it has even been released yet and if so, what are the impressions?

No, it has not been released yet. Sometime this fall is what I have heard, but nothing concrete. You might want to check with Globe Marketing, the US/Canadian distributor.

The Capitole is an exceptional player.

The Audio Aero web site has a bit if info on the Prestige. Also, I echo the suggestion to call Globe. Very helpful people.

The website suggests that DSD is first converted to PCM 88kHz and then re-sampled @ 24/192.
