Where does your user name come from?

Hi everyone,
I'm curious to know what's the story behind your user name (or Alias)... There are a bunch of people that use their name (of parts of it) like myself, Albert Porter, GerryM5, Esoler...

But where does user name like Cornfedboy, Garfish, Calloway, Tireguy, SwampWalker (and many many others) come from? Any story behind?

In my real life I sell direct Mail for a living. Thus the username dmailer.

I used to do porno in NYC when I was young and needed an alias for the credits. Manson had just murdered Jay Sebring and his real name was unpronouncable. He figured a short first name coupled with a car race would sound Hollywood sexy and that is how he got his name. I did the same.
