New B W 800 Nautilus speakers

My delaer said that there are two versions, the base version is $15K. The upgraded version just has a better finish and will be $18K. He said general availability will be in the April timeframe. All I know is that they are not the same physical size of the old 800 (over 6') and he said that it is the best sounding B&W product since the Nautilus.

I heard that they are building them to compete with the Revel Ultima Salon and would be $16000. I understood them to look roughly like the current N802, but with (2) 10" woofers instead of the (2) 8" - but otherwise the same Nautalus head and tweeter assembly as the 801 and 802. I didn't get the impression that they were over 6', I would think that they would be similar height to the 801, 802 so that the tweeter would be at approximatly the same height. The dealer heard that they would be shipping in late spring/early summer.
