I don't know your speakers, but generally it is better to have the frequency cut-off on the low side and the volume turned up; rather than having a high frequency setting at lower volume. It is usually fine to have some gap between the low point of your speakers and the sub cut-off. Try filling in the bass by turning up the volume instead of raising the cut-off.
Martin Logan Ascents & REL Storm Set-up, HELP
I recently purchased an REL Storm from another member at Audiogon. I've been playing around with it for a couple of days and rather than spend weeks on this, I'd thought I'd turn to A'gon for help. For those of you who tired or have this set-up, what crossover point have you set the REL. I know there are many variables such as room etc. However, I just want a starting point and go from there. Thanks!
