Speakers for 50W Triode tube amp

What would be your choice of speakers for a 50 W/channel triode tube amp? Consider efficiency, bass response, clarity, staging, etc.

noonen Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 10 posts 05-19-2002 at 03:41pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete Consider Proac response 2.5- I have heard them with Cary 805C with very good sound, I second the Soliloquy line, especially the flagship 6.5- list is 6+K but they show up used for 3-4K, and lastly the Coincident super or total eclipse- I haven't auditioned them myself but have heard good things about the sound-you can call the owner- he's very helpful and interesting to talk to.

These have been specfically designed to use with SET amps and their website has great reviews from many hi end mags.
