How would the Merlin VSM's sound for HomeTheater?

I've read great reviews about these speakers, but all are about music. Has anyone used these for home theater and would/do they sound as well? How would the Dynaudio Contours (T2.5 , 1.8MK-II) compare with them?
drnpl
They would sound great, I have tried my apogee centaur minor's in my hometheater system just to hear how they sounded (with sub) and the sound was fantastic. As long as the Merlin's are a good match for your room you should have a great system.
sogood51 is right in this regard. if you want the explosions etc that are traditionally assoc w/ HT, you need a sub. the merlins are great speakers, and i'm known for expousing on their virtues, but having the house shake isn't one of them....which was my point.
Thank you all for the input. I've been going over what speaker would be best for both worlds-(music and h.t.)
I really like the Dynaudio Contour's, but have yet to hear their T2.5's.--which is what I'll probably end up getting.
dynaudio are OK, but if sensitivity is what i think it is (miserable), you better have a beast of an amp.

ever thought about silverline? reimer?
