NAD vs. MF Amp - best match best choice?

I've narrowed down my choices to match with my PSB tower speakers (X2Ts) between an NAD 375 BEE (same company as PSB) or a Musical Fidelity M3i or possibly used M6i. So basically my price range is $1700 for the M6i used or maybe half that cost for a used NAD 375 or M3i.

Need help choosing!! i could always put more towards an upgraded DAC with the money saved but if the M6i is a large upgrade, then I"ll go with that amp. Looking for large soundstage, good bass control.

Thanks for your advice!

Going on amps of both MF and Nad that I've heard in the past.

I would say the Nad sound is a touch darker, euphonic, a plumper soft (tubish)sound, and the MF sound is more etched, tighter, dynamic and whiter sounding.

So it will go with your source and speakers to what you prefer.

Ok, thank you and did you mean 'wider' sound or 'whiter' for the MF? A wider soundstage would be priority for me over other criteria. Thanks!
Both are excellent choices and I think, good value for money. I don't agree with George, that MF amps are etched. They are not soft, but certainly not etched. I would go for the MF myself, but as I said, you can't go wrong with either and both are pretty reliable.
