Software update for Yam CXA5000

I just recently performed software update 1.42 for my pre, after performing the update, the sound has gone completely muted, not longer sounds full. I checked all the setting and everything is the same. Has anyone experienced this after performing a software update? Im waiting for Yamaha to get back to me, thanks in advance.

Try doing the update again. It would probably be a good idea to download the 1.42 update again as well.

Will not let me do the update again, saids update current.

If that's the case, it would make sense to go back to the software version before you did the update. Its probably available on Yamaha's website.
