Good idea. Now that my primary source is a music server, I miss having the song lyrics at my fingertips and reading the cd notes.
CD Booklets / Wiki for digital/media players?
I'm a long-time audiophile and newbie to digital. I recently built a new system and all files are delivered through digital system.
When using my mini iPad to manage music, I'm really missing the information provided on the CD booklets. My iPeng software will (at least sporadically) deliver lyrics (which I'm not really interested in) but what about the actual booklets containing detailed data on personnel, recording dates, etc.? It seems so easy to scan and supply along with the cover thumbnail.
Another option might be to connect to Wiki through the iPad and display info on 1.) the artist 2.) the album 3.) the song. Wiki is very robust these days when it comes to music.
Maybe these already exist and I'm just ignorant?
