Clever Little Clock - high-end audio insanity?

Guys, seriously, can someone please explain to me how the Clever Little Clock (http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina41.htm) actually imporves the sound inside the litening room?

I came to this thread thinking this was all a joke and I needed a laugh. Well, it IS a joke, but in a different way and with a different laugh than I expected. I nominate this one for the annual PT Barnum Award.
