Power amp for ARC SP-6

If you do use an ARC amp, the VS55 is the first one I would think of for an SP6 - I did so myself for two years and they were a great combination.

For Used vintage amps,Threshold S-series works great...

I hadn't heard of Threshold before, looks pretty interesting.....

Leftyfox, If you can find a Threshold SA1, SA2, or SA3 (depending on how much you can afford and how much power you need) this could be hog heaven. I broke in my ARC SP10II with an SA3 and kept it until I bought electrostats and wanted to try tubes. I was too poor to have a spare amp in those days. Dammed!!!! I think its one of Pass' best amp series. Period.

I'll keep my eyes open for Threshold stuff.....
