Lexicon LX-7 VS. NAD M25

I am upgrading to the Lexicon MC-12 from a Pioneer VSX-94. I currently have an NAD M25 amp. Does anyone have experience with the Lexicon/NAD setup? Would it make a lot of sense to swap the NAD for the LX-7? It wouldn't be a huge price difference on the used market.

There is a noise fan problem with Lexicon LX-7, LX-5 series per magazine review. I haven't found one at any local store for a demo to verify the noise problem. Anyway, the price for the LX is a steal, I need someone has listened to this LX series to provide feedback.
