Pass Labs Aleph 3 vs Antique Sound Lab AQ1001 DT

Just wondering which ones you liked better if you've compared or owned both. Thanks!

Haven't heard them side by side but one thing is for sure, the Pass will be working a month from now.

Dealer disclaimer
LOL - I've had good luck with the AQ1001DT so far but issues with others in the past. I'm using them with with the Von Schweikert VR4jrs.

After comparing which I wasn't sure I'd get a chance to do, I like the Aleph 3... I just might need to use a bi-amp set up to get enough juice to tighten things up since it's 30 watts and the AQ1001DT is 50 watts.

The ASL sounded very good - upgraded input tubes with black plates. It sounded a bit bright and thin, pushed the midrange back a little.

The Aleph 3 was like butter with the VR4jrs. It sounded smooth and the midrange was brought forward. Seemed to have synergy

Thanks for the answers.

More opinions welcome if you've heard both.. even if not side by side
Hello
I have the power amp version of the AQ1001DT, it's a good amp, but its sister the AQ1003 is way better in my opinion.
It does sounds no SS amp can. I have a Forte 4a, 50 watts pure class A and Accuphase amps to compare with.
The tubes give another dimension to the sound, more fluid and real.
